The family farm was traditionally dedicated to mixed farming with breeding, berries and grapes brought to the cooperative cellar. From 1985, the estate turned exclusively to viticulture. Jean-Bernard Larrieu cultivates his vines, vinifies the grapes, ages his wines, bottles them and sells them, Clos Lapeyre was born! In 2000, the vineyard-covered around 10 hectares. In 2004, it grew with the takeover of the domain of Nays-Labassère, a magnificent and old vineyard of 7 hectares in the heart of Chapelle-de-Rousse.
